Would you keep reading if we told you we were the best roofing contractor in the history of the world? Probably not, though other contractors may try and make that claim.
NH Exteriors occupies a niche unto itself. We are honest, experienced and accurate in our roofing work and in all of our home improvement claims.
We are also local, and small enough, meaning we don’t have the overhead of some of our competitors which is typically passed on to the homeowner. At the same time we are large enough, with 15,000+ projects in NH, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts, to have the right leverage with manufacturers. In this regard, customers get the best price and service on the highest quality, state of the art products. We purposely don’t offer an overwhelming array of roofing or other home improvement products, which can be confusing, choosing instead to work with a select group of manufacturers to deliver optimal results and maintain a nearly unrivaled warranty from our manufacturers.
In the realm of claims, it’s fair to say we are 2 percenters. We are masters at roofing, having achieved Master Elite Certification, a much sought after level of certification from GAF, around since 1886 and the largest roofing manufacturer in North America. We feature GAF’s #1 product: Timberline HD® Shingles.
With that, only 2 percent of the many thousands of roofing contractors in North America achieve Master Elite Certification, and it’s based on consistently high-rated workmanship, delivery, performance, product quality, an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, comprehensive licensing, highest level customer satisfaction and more. NH Exteriors is proud to have achieved that status.
Also, what many homeowners don’t know is that what goes underneath a roof is just as important as the roof itself. It’s the full system: GAF leak barriers, GAF ventilation—each and every component that makes up an effective, resilient, long lasting, energy efficient roofing system with a 25-year workmanship warranty and lifetime limited materials warranty of 50 years—the longest in the industry—both by GAF.
Have you ever noticed how metal roofs never seem to have any snow on them? It’s because with a quality metal roof you won’t have to use a snow rake, and ice dams will be a thing of the past.
We use MetalMax with Galvalume. MetalMax is domestic steel, meaning a heavier gauge and higher standards of quality providing for better finishes and color options—including a 40-year Sherwin Williams paint warranty. Galvalume, a finishing process consisting of a coating of zinc, aluminum and silicon, is used to protect steel roofs from changes that can occur over time.
Driving around New England, you may see rusted, older generation metal roofs or those with a greenish cast from harsh weather and oxidation, but today’s MetalMax roofs don’t have that problem. They feature a 5-year manufacturer’s materials warranty and NH Exteriors’ 15-year workmanship warranty, standing behind everything we do.
