Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.
If you are building a house and the nail breaks, do you stop building or do you change the nail?
Every house where love abides and friendship is a guest, is surely home, and home sweet home, for there the heart can rest.
Let me live in a house by the side of the road and be a friend to man.
Character is like the foundation of a house—it is below the surface.
He is the happiest, be he king or peasant, who finds peace in his home.
A comfortable house is a great source of happiness. It ranks immediately after health and a good conscience.
No money is better spent than what is laid out for domestic satisfaction.
Home is a name, a word, it is a strong one; stronger than magician ever spoke, or spirit ever answered to, in the strongest conjuration.
One may make their house a palace of sham, or they can make it a home, a refuge.
We should come home from adventures, and perils, and discoveries every day with new experience and character.
A house is made with walls and beams; a home is built with love and dreams.
Where we love is home – home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.
A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body.

James “JT” Taylor
Product Manager
Celebrating his 13th anniversary with NH Exteriors in 2024, JT believes the best things in life—like his job—don’t always happen by traveling the straight and narrow.
In fact the product specialist who spends his days traveling around New England talking to homeowners started his career trek with an engineering degree from UCF (University of Central Florida). This was followed by a GE-sponsored master’s degree which he put to work with a top secret clearance building nuclear weapons for Lockheed Martin. A plant closure, followed by his own business in motorcycle design, and then some years in management with Sears Home Improvement led circuitously to NH Exteriors, where he has hit his stride. He says the company’s consistent support, sense of camaraderie and steadfast respect for its customers is what drives him.
Married in 2015, he loves boating and spends most of his off time touring New England on his ’85 Harley Davidson or 1929 Harley 3-speed stick shift.
